Cheers mates! Haven't posted in a while. Still building thou and right now I'm about to finish off a "toonish" showrod, based on a scrapped UCT body (yes pure early 60's styrene body!) This build was started  almost 2 years ago but has been sat aside a couple of times due to other builds!

Instead of visable engine, I opted for a closed "hood" from a Monogram Beer Truck (old MACK actually). Frame , floor and axles/suspension have been scratched from evergreen profiles and plastic card.  Sofa seat comes from a Monogram 1940 Ford pick up , dashboard is a modified early Corvette unit and I haven't got a clue where the steering wheel came from! Front wheels are from Monogram Honest Engine (locomotive showrod) and rear wheels from a 1/20 scale Hard Hat Hauler showrod. The driver (actually just a "head" ) comes from a PEZ-dispenzer .

The UCT Body was pie-cut sectioned a little and the roof was raised about 20 mm. Because ot all this I also had to widen the body at the rear , approx 3-4 mm.

Made a lever for the indicators and mounted to the steering column, and converted bone stock early model T pedals to just 2 instead of 3 pedals

I love detailing.....and scratchbuilding....

While waiting for paint and glue to dry, I did a mockup testing the "charger and belt" . I may switch the scoop for something else....

Since the roof has been raised the old front screen wouldn't fit. I made a new one and gave it som tint in the upper area.T-rophy Hunter 08310
