A long shot but does anyone know if there was ever a kit (1:25 or bigger) made of the Hillman Hunter ??

I have a soft spot for the old Hunters. TIA

I've been around a long time in this hobby, but I can't recall a large scale Hunter kit ever being made. Perhaps there was a plastic toy made at some stage? The only Hunters I've seen have been 1:43 scale diecast models.

AIR-TRAX from Finland would be your best bet, They did a few Pom and German cars (resin), Think they were pretty dear though

I'm with you there mate. When I was learning to drive my lessons were either with Mum in her little yellow Hillman Hunter, or with Dad in the '68 Pontiac Parisienne. Manual and Auto, Armstrong Steering and Power steering, 'lil 4-pot and Chev V8, small and %$#@&ing huge, I learned to handle both ends of the spectrum !

Good luck with your search, I'd be keen to see if you turn anything up.

Cheers, Damian

Cheers mate ...nothing yet. I wonder what Shawn is doing after he finishes his falcon hehehe!

Mum had a HC from brand new , Girlfriend at the time had a 660 and I had a Hustler. All great cars and hard to kill.

I will let you know if I find anything.
