55 Chev Convertable

Finished this just before Christmas. Started with the lovely baby poop coloured convertable. The wheels are off the 56 Delray kit. I got the colour inspiration from a 56 Convertable that was built on Overhaulin. Front is custom mixed pale yellow with a bucket load of gold pearl in it, the rear is custom black pearl. Wanted to put a big block in it but couldn't find rocker covers and air cleaner in my parts box that I liked so I thought I'd try and replicate the 2 tone sides of the car and add a boot badge to the are cleaner, chrome trim was done with BMF.

Based on the original RM Convertable kit, with the continental kit.

Luv the Chev badge on the air cleaner body at least it's not a bowtie (sick of those too many on commondoors). Great work on the motor and the bady has a top paint job as well. greatjob
