I went for a look early this afternoon and WOW this show is awesome!! I was like a kid in a candy store..............First time I've been and I will be there next year for sure! I only went for a few hours but really should have set aside a whole day as there is so much to see. I'm also gunna keep my eye out in the next month or so for the 1/24 choppers with figures from Dub!!! they look cool. I did'nt leave there empty handed but as I got two RC Cars, a 1/25 GT40 & 1/24 Big Foot. Also spotted some 1/24 slot car sets that are gunna be a must have for Christmas (Hope Santa reads this! santa )You can get hot rods, Tuners, Muscle cars etc....

Here's the RC Cars

Any news about the new owners of AMT?
Will they still sell kits in Oz?

Rumour has it that JB Wholesalers (Australia) will be the new distributors of AMT kits. They will later this year be bringing in AMT, MPC and Polar Lights models from Auto World (the new manufacturer of AMT kits) in America. JB already have Polar Lights and MPC model kits, so it would make sense that they would also handle AMT kits. They will distribute Australia-wide when the kits arrive. Some of AMT's older models are rumoured to be re-made again?

FWIW, that '41 Ford Custom is actually a '41 Chevrolet.
