Re: Motor Vate Melbourne
How was it Mustang?
Did everyone leaving manage to control their right feet or did some morons ruin it for everyone the same way they ruined it when drag racing at Tooradin was on the cards?

Re: Motor Vate Melbourne
It was great mate I snapped some pics, might get them up during the week I only took about 150 photos because my dad started to get grumpy when I stoped at every car inspecting the engine Over 700 cars there Alot of work when your on crutches
There were a couple of lead foots but there was enough cops around that noone really screwed it up, my neighbor was one of the people who helped run it(he races stockers, and has a Pro mod) there was a huge pile of papers, filled with signatures for the petition to get the drag strip and drift course built on government land between Werribee and Geelong
I will get some pics up as soon as possible guys, might be a bit busy with school and all though

Re: Motor Vate Melbourne
Nah not out there mate
Some government land out near avalon they wanted to build it on, they want the government to 'donate' the land and 60 million dollars to build it. The minister of sports was invited to Motor Vate but guess what, he didnt show up Im not suprised, they could have taken some initiative and built the drag strip rather than waste the money on a giant wheel that is now broken
I will keep you updated as soon as I have a chat with my neighbour
