53F100 Mild Custom
I finished this early sunday morning,I completely smoothed the body pickup bed and guards or fender's to our overseas friends.
I filled and smoothed the front clip and I did the same with the firewall as well,I slightly lowered the opening of for the door glass to match the windscreen frame.
I converted the dash to RHD and used the gauge cluster from the 59 belair convertible and with a bit of slicing and dicing and filling I got it spot on,the seat comes from the early issue revell 57 belair the steering wheel is from the kit and so is the shifter.
I decided to use the desoto hemi and wen't for the injection instead of the carbies that come with it I just love the look of them in there,I had to make up new engine pipe's to mate up to the side pipe's the come from the 59 elcamino kit.
I went with the studerbaker grille and headlight's for this and also used the merc tailights on the rear, the bumperette's are from my part's stash as is the liscence plate frame.
The wheels and tyre's are from the kit bit I painted the whitewalls amd added valve stems.
I had to make a pair of spats or skirts to finish it off and after they went on I was satisfied with it and now it is finished.
Regards Tony.

Gorgeous. Great build. I love this kit but judging by what they go for so does everybody else.
