Western Star Large Car Ute
Well I've finally decided to finish this mungrel of and this is how far I've got so far.
The air intake & exhaust are the hardest parts to do as this rig has a Detroit V6 under the bonnet and it all sits close to the cab so alot of cutting of pipe work is happening.

Very nice clean build.. I hate doing white, can never seem to keep it clean.. top work on doing your white beast so clean
Re: Western Star Large Car Ute
Well a bit more work has been done and here are a few pix to show Ya all.
Detroit V6 sits under cab & cab pipe is connectoed to engine pipe.
Mirrors fitted & driver's mirror fitted with worklight.
Cab & sleeper lights plus air horns (sleeper inner lights R orange NOT red).
6 spoke spiders colour coded to body.
Horse mascot, bug deflector & windscreen stone guard fitted.
Pins to hold special barwork in place now fitted.
To keep white paint clean I pack it away after each tiem that I work on it so the dust doesn't have time to settle.

Re: Western Star Large Car Ute
Well it's slowly coming to an end just a few thing to do now and it's done, I need to finish of the tray with the camping gear almost there just a few aprt to get and paint & then place a detachable tarp to cover it all.
Driver will be reading a magazine when he's complete. Rolls on the right of driver are Swags and will be paint a dark colour.
Lightboard attached and also "Do Not Over Take" signs have been fixed to the mudflaps (not shown).

OK now here is the replace canopy after the cat destroyed the first one, also clutch a fridge with no beer but it's there for the milk etc.
The brown box above the rear drive is the fridge clutch.

Re: Western Star Large Car Ute
I reckon the new canopy looks better then before. All the accessories in the back look great, does the fridge open? I was thinking a little gas burner would look cool, then we can have cuppa's!!
