66 Mercury
this is AMT's 66 Mercury and old reissue with metal axles, was kinda surprised to find the only engine in the kit is a dual carb 428 ! with an axle through the block . i have been so inspired by the builds on this forum that im gunna try some new things with this one, i will try whitewalls and BMF for the first time.

Re: 66 Mercury
Looks good so far, best of luck with the BMF.
Do the parts fit well or is it like most AMT kits?

Re: 66 Mercury
whitewalls and BMF
basic parts fit is average for one of these old kits, i did have trouble gettin the engine to sit low enuf to close the bonnet, not sure if this was a fault with the kit or because i have modified the engine
