Re: First Bike Attempt
Great first attempt - looking forward to seeing more bikes from you. Try not using the flash - maybe shoot outdoors?

the only flaw I see is that it appears to have a boat anchor in place of an engine.
Good work.

Thanx guys, I was in a rush to take pics and get them posted before the wife woke up and found me not doing my jobs ha ha. My next bike i think will be a sports bike of some sort.

Re: First Bike Attempt
nice job on the chopper, lots of potential in those RM kits.
if you are keen on a sportsbike kit.... you cant go past any of the AOSHIMA Zeds, fairly accurate, good detail and the recent releases have roolly good chrome (the earlier relaeses have an almost dull cote on the chrome tree for the guards and engine covers) Mind you the decal for the tank can be a bit of a pain. ( I have builds 4 and 5 on the bench - 1980 Z1000 and another Z1 900 - replica of one of the incarnations of my 1:1 bike)
and yes its old school
But so am I

Re: First Bike Attempt
Thanks Hammo, Im just starting to get into bikes at the age of 29. Thought id build a bike for something different. It turned ok, didn't really spend alot of time on it. There's plenty of things i need for my desk such as plastic stock and alclad among other things so im a bit of a budget builder but i reckon i do alright for my skill level and supplies.

Re: First Bike Attempt
the upside to the AOSHIMA kits is they are cheaper than Tamiya etc
