'66 volkswagen(s) : karmann ghia and beetle

G'day, these are my favourite builts. Two classic volkswagens, a karmann ghia coupe and a beetle 1300 s. Both of them are from tamiya.

both are very well done the Karmann is a a nice kit its next on my list to build what colour paint did you use on it

Nice - they look great although a bit conservative for you - where's the big wheels?

Bryce you are right it going to be based on one that a friend built in the US I think that its been in a couple of Magazine's. I just hope that I can do it justice. As I'm shore you can tell its not quite standard

Man, I just love to see a karmann ghia painted with coral blue like yours, very classic

Oh, and by the way, I used tamiya TS-50 mica blue for mine, I really like that color, I used that color for my karmann ghia, BMW 635 CSi , Nissan Silvia S15 ( which all you have seen ) , 911 GT2 and Alpine A 110 1600SC ( which I will post later )
