Post by dufasdave Tue 04 Aug 2009, 1:33 pm

Finished this today, body is painted in Tamiya pearl white roof and mica blue body. Didn't get too concerned with the underbody as I fiqured it was a street/strip car. Built for driving/racing not looks. Its running a big block engine from a Shelby Mustang kit with fabricated cold air intake and box. I made the exhaust from aluminium tubing. Scratchbuilt roll cage, hinged bonnet, disc brakes all round and very basic interior (as seen in the workshop pics). Hope you all like.

Nice one Dave. What's the rubber shreds made from? Tyre sandings?

Nice job - I like the bonnet hinges and the overall "tuff" appearance.
