Re: Mongrel F Truck
I got some time to take some pictures in better light Today, The first ones are the shocks apart and together once they were polished and finished. The rear tray is almost done only have a little bit to do inside the cab, fuel tank and lines to finish off and go in as well as finish of the pluming and lines and the inter-cooler system for the 4.6 Ford Triton Supercharged V8 has any one got any info on these motor as it's been very hard to find any useful info? Hope you all enjoy the Pictures..

Sorry I forgot the motor it been recessed in the the fire wall so the transfer case is in the middle of the diffs and the Tail shafts are sort of working so they move up and down with the movement of the diff's will post pictures of that soon..

Re: Mongrel F Truck
Here is the semi working tail / drive shafts that I was telling you all about in yesterday's update. they are made so that each end will pivot up and down with the diffs they also have the slip shaft setup like a real 4X4 tail shaft to allow the drive shaft to extend and contract with the movement of the diff, Their is one partly done so you can see how simple they are to do. When looking at the pictures in the post again from yesterday I thought that the cab needed something the give it a bit of life to it since I have done this a US 4X4 it needed some guns in it so I jumped on the Winchester web site got some pictures and measurements for an over/under and semi auto shot gun and whipped these up tonight while on shift ( you have to lover night shift) still have to paint the semi auto it going to be in camouflage. These will be placed in a gun rack mounted in the rear window am going to put some shells and ammunition boxes on the dash and a bit more junk around I think that it will look good will post a picture when I have mounted the guns and rack in the window.. Enjoy

Re: Mongrel F Truck
Thanks for the shocker pics.
Now, those drive shafts.
I think you're letting the side down by not making the universals completely functional.
You're nearly as mad as Stump...

Re: Mongrel F Truck
Thanks Everyone for your comments during this final stages of this build I hope that I might of inspired some of you to build something different to what you normally build Brice all the holes in the Hi lift jack and the steering have been drilled by hand that jack was the third attempt as the other I did I was not happy with by the end of it I was starting to think that I was getting R.S.I. LOL
