studebaker pro mod
Inspiered by a rendering by Hotrods by Burke, I built this from a resin promod stude body (doh) carpenter 55chev top sportsman chassis and tin, gearbox and resin funnycar motor. Paint is a blue nailpolish from a $2.00 shop over a ppg silver.
Blower belts are scratchbuilt and yes they are ribbed. Fuel cell is mine and all other detailing is scratchbuilt.

Ok, Dude, I have to to tell you, this things is off the chain. Amazing work. I know how hard these are to build because i have built a few of them. That paint job loos fantastic. I would love to know how you made a ribbed blower belt. Top shelf, man, Top shelf !!
I saw the WIP on this elsewhere, Very nice work.

Re: studebaker pro mod
Thanks.
Max to make the blowerbelt I use masking tape silicon a fine tooth comb and flat black paint. I am going to try using plain white paper next time as most masking tape has textured backing that you dont need. I digress lay your tape down sticky side up, apply a thin even smear of silicon on top useing the fine comb to make the ribs. (long toothed head lice combs with metal teeth work the best). Make it a bit longer than you need obviously ,paint black when dry and trim to size when dry. Use a dab of super glue usually under bottom pulley to afix. hope that helps some
