I built this model a couple of decades ago when my then brother-in-law owned a Caddy Towncar V16 and use to run it in the Bay to Birdwiid classic run here in Adelaide, I decide to build a model of his car but instead of having the V16 in it I put a V8 in it and also did a rod job on the model. I hope U all like wot I did to this model caddy, oh by the way when my brother-in-law saw the model he then set about and strip the caddy to build it into a hot rod, all I could say was bloody fool he ruined a good classic car.

i guess this is the main reason i got into model building, you can do what ever you like to them. any colour you want and your only limited by your imagination.

Was this an Italeri kit? It looks like the smaller wheels have lowered the ride? What V8 did you use? Looks pretty cool to me - nice idea and job.

The wheels did lower the ride, the V8 came from I think a Ford F100, and the radiator hoses where one of my first attempts at doing any detail work of any kind. Cool
