"demenTed"
I've seriously been lacking bench time of late with the Model show, Work and Family so I'm going to wack something together before I become "demenTed" lol...................here's what I came up with after about 30minutes work, I pillaged the already built chassis from another T that has been on the backburner for yonks and I'm definately digging this so far, whatchathink??
plans call for a Flathead with some sort of wicked induction and cool paint...........hopefully there will be some more progress soon

So far so good, I got the makings of a Flathead installed and played swapsies with the wheels, these get it closer to earth!

Re: "demenTed"
That chassis looks familier.
I think you should channel it some more
Looks promising.

Re: "demenTed"
Nice so far Paul - maybe the body needs a small amount of forward lean or channelling to give it "attitude"? Love the old tall T's - very much my vintage!!!

Re: "demenTed"
Loks better with the 5 spokes & wires than with the steelies IMO.
What Rad you going with? 'cause by the time it's been sectioned to match the cowl height there's not going to be much left.

Re: "demenTed"
Thanks for the comments guys,
The body's not getting tilted but I may drop the front spindles a bit yet, and don't sweat the radiator Zen as I've found an old MPC one that will fit without any cutting

Re: "demenTed"
With a little bit of work you could graft the fittings from the front axle onto a dropped one. Or just make new fittings I suppose.
You'd lose the sneaky hidden steel axle but if you used a Revell '32 front axle you'd then get discs instead of the tiny drums this comes with.
You also appear to have the shock mounting bracket removed (spread out U shape piece sticking up in front of the engine - On the Tea Caddy it's between the rad and the engine).
Did you take it off with plans to work something else out (it's not pretty) or is it missing?

It's there now Zen & no sweat on lowering this as I flipped the whole front end over!! .........here's an update
Dropping the front end so much meant I could raise the body up off of the motor, I've also added a modified sunvisor out of the Revell '29 Pickup kit.............slowly progressing!!
