Beep Beep as well FINISHED

Finally got this finished, still not happy with the hood, may repaint it cause of ghosting but it's not too bad, in the cabinet for now. As I was using the SuperBee instructions, it said that thing was the wiper motor but just looks wrong.

Very nice , it's an odd looking wiper motor but hey , if that's what they say it is then who are we to argue

She looks great mate - well done! I think I need a set of those wheels for my Superbee build - they really suit the car's big wheel arches.

That 'wiper motor' of yours is actually the special roadrunner 'meep meep' horn. The wiper motor is on the chrome parts tree. HTH

I went and double checked and that is what my SuperBee instructions say, #18 but I'll fix it, I'll just toss the F*cker away and have nothing there as I don't have the chrome piece.

Yeah, the destructions are wrong.
And IIRC the "beep beep" horn didn't come in until '69.

If you want to 'restore' it the horn should be light purple and located on the top right hand side of the radiator bulkead.

Persdonally I think horns are overrated.  Sacrelidge it may be but those beep beep horns are cool, so I have a pair on my Ford.

Got them from www.bongosbasement.com.au but he is out of stock and doesn't know when he will get more. I had another order in with him ( since September) and have had no reply after about 4 emails, you could try him if you wish.
