LIEBHERR Mining equipment
For something a bit different. 1:50 scale diecast mining equipment. I painted these up for a friend who works with the real ones at Blackwater.
these things are bloody heavy, I was gettin a sore arm moving them around.

Geez Shoey you've nailed the art of weathering to a 'T'. They look so good mate. What brand are the diecast models?

Re: LIEBHERR Mining equipment
OK , hands up who thought they were looking at photo's of full sized equipment
The weathering is perfect , only snag is all the steps and ladders are too straight , everyone I've seen has been bent and straightened by poor operators trying to hide it from the boss (it's the only way I could convince myself that these are photo's of models and not the real thing) ....

Re: LIEBHERR Mining equipment
Yeah, you're right there Ian. IRL the bottom of the ladder on the dumper would be buckled and mangled.
Bit tricky to pull off in 1/50 though.
