Hilux Mining Vehicle
This one was a hand-me down from Moparsteve.
It used to have a style side and metalic blue paint,
which didn't look too bad. But I had other plans!
the back half was scratch built including the suspension.
the front bar was replaced with a home made bull bar.
Reflective vinyl was used for the stripes and numbers.
the LED lights are power from a couple of AAA's in the tool box.
I took a million pics but could not catch the strobe on the roof.
oh well you get the idea!!
Hope you like! Cheers

Re: Hilux Mining Vehicle
Not to bag you out but there are no arrows on the wheelnut tags meaning there is no way you would get that vehicle through the gate of a mine site. pick your act up sunshine I expect better than that from you.

Re: Hilux Mining Vehicle
Fantastic Shoey. You have a great knack of turning a model into a miniature version of the real thing.

Re: Hilux Mining Vehicle
the lights really add to the realism. for the strobe, you should have tried to take a pic when it was off!Shoey wrote:I took a million pics but could not catch the strobe on the roof.
Re: Hilux Mining Vehicle
Brilliant job there Shoey , very realistic . Only thing missing is the stash of people and picture magazines wedged beneath the seats ...
