at my previous workplace, they used toyota hilux for most staff vehicles. i did a model of one of the work utes. They liked it so much, the boss commissioned me to build a second one, which was displayed at their melbourne headquarters. unfortunately that company is now in receivership.

the model is aoshima toyota hilux with homemade decals and bullbar is scratchbuilt. for the second one, i added a payload of a 'slip-on', it's a spray unit and pump for firefighting.

Anyone else do a model of/for their workplace?

Nice replica build. I can see why your boss liked it.

I once built a replica of a customised 1971 Chevrolet pickup rescue truck as used by the Frankston State Emergency Service unit (Vic). No idea what happened to it and I didn't take pics either - bummer.
