My Brock collection Empty My Brock collection

Post by Shoey Thu 26 Nov 2009, 1:17 am

Here is my collection of Peter Brock 1:25 scratch built models and 1:18 diecast.
They are all on display at the Champions Brock Experience at Yeppoon.
There is still heaps still to do, I could be quite a while gettin them done.
I will try to get some close up pics soon.

Note the 69 Bathurst Monaro (43D) in the reflection.

Geez Shoey - is there any you haven't got? Man that is one fantastic collection. Closeups would be great. The Monaro hadn't escaped my eye!

I have a few things signed by him including a MHDT jacket, never seemed to get into buying the cars, maybe it was my whole aversion to diecast models but anyway, like I said My Brock collection 676497 My Brock collection 676497 My Brock collection 676497 My Brock collection 676497

Yes lot's of closeups.

I have a VR (maybe VS) commodore that Brock signed the roof of, as he was putting it back in the box, he smudged part of his autograph. I now have part of his thumb print on the roof. Must get it out and back on the shelf one day. Can't remember what scale the car is. been a while since I saw it, but it is a small die-cast one though.

Great collection Shoey. I noticed the Porsche they raced at Le Mans in 83. That one is on my to do list.
Great tribute to a great driver, and a good cross section of Australian Motorsport History.
Thank you
Cheers
