Model of 1:1
I am gathering the parts to do a 1/24 build of this 1:1 rod. It's such a shame to see this piece of Aussie rodding history in this condition.
It was built in 1956 by a very good friend of mine, who has since passed on.
Some of the parts I will need are. 1950 Pontiac taillights and a 39 Ford steering wheel. Can anyone tell me what kits they are in. I have most of the other parts I need and some I will have to scratch build.

39 Banjo is available aftermarket, not sure who makes it, so will check and confirm.
The Pontiac tailamps are in the Hot Rod version of the readilly available AMT 34 Ford coupe (red car on box) and the Sedans if you can find one of them.
Considering the plight of many old hot rods, Phil William's old coupe is in surprisingly good and complete condition if that's a recent photograph.

Thanks carps, I seem to remember seeing the banjo wheels on someones site, can't remember which one though. As for the tail lights I remembered where I'd seen them just after I put the topic up. I have 2 sets of them.
I am determined to do a replica of Phil's car now, because by the look of the photo I don't think it will be around much longer.
