Here’s my other new project. I know five windows aren’t as glamorous as three windows, but I figure with the right amount of work they can look just as good. Besides, it's all I've got to work with and I am on a bit of a 'build what ya got' binge at the moment. Very Happy

So far I’ve chopped the roof, made some new drip rails and scratched up some rear fender skirts from plastic card. The look for this one will be fairly understated – stock hood, head and tail lights. Not too sure on bumpers yet but am leaning towards ‘40 Ford (does anyone out there have spares from a Revell kit?). Engine will probably be the kit flathead hotted up with some new heads and a set of twin carbs from my parts box. Colours will be dark green enamel and a tan interior. The Caddy Sombreros are from the Revell Merc kit I think (thanks Paul).

Geez even an ant couldn't get under that - too bad if you had deep gutter crossings at home!

Seriously Bryce that's a fab looking build so far. Should look nice in dark green - bring out the smooth curves more I would think.

Interesting build, but coming from Bryce, it will be nothing short of spectacular.

Thanks guys - you're making my head swell... Embarassed

Cool pic Paul - very similar to what I have in mind. Mine will be a bit shinier though.
