36 coupe taildragger

I built this custom 36 a few years ago. I had to do the chop cause the kit only had stock roof. The fender skirts I made by laminating styrene sheets and filing to shape. the headlight buckets are 37 Chev. lowered and fitted with "Lucas flamethrower" lights from an old AMT trophy kit, ( hence the fading chrome ).Lasalle grille ,solid hoodsides and a good shave.The Desoto bumper and flipper hubcaps are from the 40 delivery. I could not bring myself to interrupt that sexy ass with tailights and number plate, and if I did it again I'd weld and smooth the trunk lid ! This custom was built in the style of the 40's and is all about the "look"

Now that does have "THE LOOK" mate, love the color and stance, and great job on the roof chop too.
