59 el camino
hi all,
was thinking of something cool to do with my 59 el camino. so after looking at what parts i can steel from what kits i come up with this. it my not end up this low but should be close. will have TPI from a corvette kit , thinking of orange for the color what u think ??? any other ideas be great ....

Should look cool. A candy orange, maybe even 2 tone would look great on that body shape.

hmmm but thats a FORD color.... just jokes think the white roof is a must ... will check out the ford color.... see if i can find some pics to see what it look like .

looks damn sweet. What about retro-fitting the drivetrain and interior to it from the ferrari. Thats only if the parts arent goin to be used from the ferrari kit! Then again that could be blasphemy in most peoples books.

what about bring the white down to the top of the door,I had a HQ Holden that was painted ford blaze blue once

cool thanks for all the input .... white top and orange body was my first pick in colors.... just gotta work out what type of orange.

have a look at tamiya acrylic color Buff XF-57 for inside with white.

well wotever the colours end up i think it will be sweet i have however seen a pearl white with a bright candy orange one in the states and it had a funny green intirior with white wierd i know but looked awsome ill see if i can find a pic of it

well since i am home for a few weeks after a another small heart attack, i mite be able to catch up abit with some model stuff. Today got back on to the this one, i have changed the engine to a ferrari 612 scaglietti V12. Atm it is just sitting in there ,next is to get it mounted and cut some out of the gearbox tunnell so it fit.
