4? Chev

this is a Galaxie kit that can be assembled as either a 46, 47 or 48 Chev, i am trying to Australianize it by converting it ti RHD and adding a 265 hemi, suspension has been lowered as per the parts provided.

cool looks like an interesting build mate a hemi in a chev different but ok will see how it looks wen done

They are really cool looking cars - would like to get my hands on one of those kits one day.

Nice kit - I built one some time ago for an importer in Sydney, but I don't think they went ahead with bulk orders? It went together really well and looked great finished. I can see this one being customised too.

I like your idea to "Australianise" the model - hope it works out for you. Looking forward to seeing more progress pics.

why not a hemi in it they put chevy in ford rods,what colour are u going with.

The Galaxie kits pop up on Evil-bay now and then but usually fetch good money.

color will be purple, i got this one from scaleautomobilia, and im pretty sure u can get this one and the sedan delivery vesion from modelroundup

Checked out the web site and I like the 3.5 skill level. not bad for 27 bucks us and 12 bucks us for postage. I wonder how a bulk order would go?

dv8v8 looking good so far is the dash easy to convert to rhd?

dont hafta do much to the dash all the gauges are central

body has been undercoated and Hemi 6 pack is ready to be fitted

color is Tamiya purple anodized aluminium PS51 painted over black then a couple of coats of Lame Flame and then clear
