68' Dodge Charger "FULL CHARGE"
Hey all, this is me 68 Charger that ive been workin on for the last 2 months. Ive gone for a black base with a coat of Lame' flake to give it a bit of bling. The engine is of course a Hemi with twin centrifugal superchargers. The bonnet is the stock one with the centre of a 71 Plymouth GTX hood and air-grabber moulded into it to give it a bit of a bulge. Hope you guys like it. Thanx
This is just a pic to show off the colours in the flake.

Re: 68' Dodge Charger "FULL CHARGE"
Tamiya PS53 Lame Flake over Tamiya TS14 Black spray cans. Not sure of the best place to get it, I buy it from our local hobby shop in Rockhampton. And i usually have to be quick to get it. If you can get a can, it works best on darker base colours. The lighter you go with the base, the harder it is too see. Plus you dont have to use much either. Ive used the 1 can on 3 builds now. The trick is in the amount you spray as well. if you spray too much, it'll just look like heavy metallic, so.... Easy as she goes is how i approach it. Hope that bit of info was useful too ya,

Ive used PS 46 and 47 a couple of times now and yeah a black glossy base, go lightly and keep goin lightly til you get the desired effect. Ya tend to get better colour change too if you spray it in the same direction e.g. Start at front and work back or vice versa. Bein a PS colour too, you will have to clear the crap outta it to get a great glossy finish. But they are great colours man!
Yeah the charger is polycarbonate, but only the Lame'. Its just like a clear you put over the base colour, much the same with your paint.
