I hate the look of these. Reckon the headlights & grille really spoil the front view.
However, the roof chop goes some way to alleviating that.

Nice job, the i/1 scale copy lives not far from here, although it's only got a 351 not an ARDUN.

There's something brutish about these early Ford F1's and their blunt fronts. Your model has captured that look very well. Nice engine detail too.

It's the way the grille and headlights are so much narrower than the wings.
Maybe i'll have to get one and chop it up to see if I can improve things.
