Plastic Swap - Brisbane
Okay
Just got the word on the plastic swap for this year
NOTE There is a change of venue
Here is the blurb from the IPMS Facebook site
Local scale modelling club, IPMS Queensland, will host its annual
scale model sale on 8 May 2010.
Club president Bruce Anders, says “the PX sale is easily Brisbane’s
biggest one-day sale of plastic scale models and accessories”.
IPMS Queensland has been running the PX annually for a number of years.
“Each year it gets bigger, we had so many people last year we decided to
find a bigger venue! This year, the PX will be held in school hall at
Aspley High School, which will give us more room to set up tables, and
provide some extra room to move”.
Entry to the PX costs $5 for prospective buyers, and $15 for those
looking to sell plastic kits and accessories. Sellers are invited to set
up sale tables from 7am on 8 May 2010. The sale starts at 8am.
According to Bruce Anders, “it’s essential you get in early if you’re
after that sought after kit or stunning bargain”.
Mostly aircraft & military but Andy from Scaleautomobilia usually brings a van load of stuff (remember the 30% off) and in recent years there have been some good car bargains

Re: Plastic Swap - Brisbane
Sounds very similar to the Melbourne Model Expo swap & sell (June). I hope it all goes well up there Chris, and you find some good bargains (or Holy Grails). If you do find some post up a few pics.
