NNL Cup '32 Ford Sedan (Tudor)
After seeing Ron's photos I thought I'd chuck a few quick snaps of mine up.Here's my 32 Ford I built for this year's NNL cup. The rules for the NNL Cup are you can only use the parts in the box and cant modify it. I finished this off the night before the show, than sat up till 3am trying to finish off the HQ van I built, the vans still got some more work to be done but well worth it though as they both did well on the day.

Very nice show rod Rob. It looks even better when you see it for real, and that paint job is something else.

Thanks for the kind words Tezza, I thought the paint turned out alright, I tried getting a photo of the bottom of it but none of them seem to look right. But I still think my photos are getting a little bit better than before.

Thats nice.
I've just hacked into my one of these (2" chop) with vague ideas of doing something similar to the Eastwood & Barakat sedan.

So you DO build models...?
Great work mate. Good to see something come off your bench.

Thin brush and a steady hand. Nar only joking. I used an Artline 725 permanent marker, and a semi-steady hand. It was a bit of an experiment to see how it'd work out.Clutch wrote:Looks great! Nice colours, how did you paint the black out line?

Thanks Bryce, yeah when Im not organising shows or playing cars I try and build the odd model. I said I'd try and do 1 a month this year, so far I've got the 32, the HQ van diorama and 2 more that are real, real close! So I might do it yet!Bryce wrote:So you DO build models...?

Looks tidy in the flesh (plastic?) too! Guess you'd better start the NNL Mustang soon to avoid those 3am finishes, huh?
Re: NNL Cup '32 Ford Sedan (Tudor)
Tell me about it! Cleaning up the model room at the moment, dragged out the Mustang yesterday and developed a game plan for it, pretty simply kit so it wont take long to slap together I hope. Just have to decide on a colour.

OK Congrats on slapping together your "32 Ford for this year. Ya might'n get it so easy next year!!
I just picked up my '68 Mustang a few hours ago unintentionally. I took my Wife and Daughter to Castle Hill to see Clash of The Titans at the pictures . Had a browse in Uncle Petes and found "68 Mustang (on the floor???)at a reasonable price ; I couldn't resist ,I can start on it now.
