I hope you're going to paint it black just like a Mafia (or Yakuza) car - better than a Chrysler 300C. Twisted Evil

Like the wheels.
Agree with Clutch about the mirrors (what's it like driving with mirrors there?)
Can't visualise it in any colour other than a dark one. Metallic Charcoal with a blinged up clear?

Hey guys it wasn't so long ago that all external morrors were mounted on the front fenders. Gradually over time the mirrors were moved closer to the doors until finally they became part of the door design.

That Toyota is quite a car - low volume production and built to Rolls Royce standards. That model (VG45) had a 4-litre V8 engine, but later models had a V12. I'm wondering if that's the car (or maybe a disguised Crown) that was used in the James Bond movie, "You only live twice", where a big chopper picks up the car and dumps it into the sea?

Colour will be Black, or a really dark Gun Metal.

Mirrors wil not be on the guards, probably wont have any as I always seem to knock them off Toyota Century. Icon_rolleyes .

Tezza, I think you're right about the Bond movie, it was one off these.

Sorry to disagree, but they are built to a much higher quality sdtandard than Rolls Royce.

Each car is 100% hand built and the build rate is one car per day. They are only sold in Japan and then only to to the very wealthy.

You can have any colour you want provided it's black lacquer. Each of the eight colour coats is hand sanded (wet) before the next coat coes on.

Each piece of timber in the car is hand shaved and the piece either side retained just in case a matching slice is required for repairs down the track. If you've ever seen traditiona Japanese lacquer ware, that's the finish on both the body and clearcoat over the timer work. Al;l the interior leatherwork is hand done and the people who build these cars are the older and most experienced and reverred craftsmen in the company.

The cars all feature a full wet bar, air conditioned seats, dehumidifier, curtains and a fully adjustable massaging back seat with ottoman.

That model (VG45) had a 4-litre V8 engine, but later models had a V12.
And ot's not just any old V8 but a bonafide all aluminium Hemi! The block is based off the Keith black racing engine as this was found to be the most rigid of all the blocks tested for the design.

The V12 is pretty much the current Lexus V8 with a few extra cylinders, can you say smmoooth and powerful?

I'm wondering if that's the car (or maybe a disguised Crown) that was used in the James Bond movie, "You only live twice", where a big chopper picks up the car and dumps it into the sea?
It was a Century but an earlier model than this one.

BTW, the fully adjustable and computer controlled air suspension is standard to the real car.

Thanks Carps, that info matches what I found out.

Re the Bond movie, after some research I found out the gangsters car was a '66 Crown.

I can't find a mention any where online about a Century in the movie.
