Re: Something old and traditional.
Yup, it's a given that this one should be at the Hot Rod show.
Hamo, the R&M Duval screen is visible in this shot from the my first post. I'll shoot a closeup of the frame and instructions if you wish.
Didn't use either of the headers in the pic coz they just didn't work in this application.
Since the stock Ardun header was pretty lame, I had to search a bunch of kits to fins a header that worked. Ended up sing the Sanderson style blockhuggers from the Revellogram 41 Willys Street Rod.

thanks for the info, looks like I need to check R&M out.
I bashed the AMT 32 Phantom Vickie kit into the Revell Hiboy Kit- swapped cowls and used a few other tastee bits, coming along slowly

Re: Something old and traditional.
OK, but first I am interested in the "pie cut" in the chassis. Does it require reinforcement to retain strength? I am guessin thats how you got the rake on your AVATAR picture.
looks old skool cool - would like to give it a go, just not keen to stuff up a good chassis

Re: Something old and traditional.
The rake on the vaatar '33 coupe is from channelling the body at the cowl and leaving it unchannelled at the rear.
requires a tapered sectioning of the interior tub, chassis is unmodified other than the rear crossmember for the model A spring and quickchange.
