56 THUNDERBIRD,Here is one that I painting,colour is tamiya gold leaf base top coat is tamiya clear orange calling it Tequilla surprise.

Thank's clutch,only had trouble with T-bird roof,bug landed on it as I was airbrush colour,Ya Bryce it has came out like candy,better then the white it's the american graffiti T-bird one,was going to do it silver base with clear blue but it look Ho Hum metalic blue, this colour pops in the sunlight.

Love the way sunlight reflects all those colour tones - there is a quite a difference in depth between the indoor shot and the outdoors one.

A light caramel/coffee shade with a touch of orange in it.

Yeah definitely. A cream/ivory/tan colour will complement the orange well.

so milk coffee colour with bit of orange,Oh top of dash is the same colour as body.

Ya Tony the blue just looked so plain,Geoff now that maybe away to going,do the seats white them coat of pearl on top,Tamiya has clear pearl that turns any colour into a pearl colour.

Mid life crisis?
I CAN do subtle complimenting colours. I just choose not to. I think that wearing a hi viz shirt every day has desensitized my colour sense...

Hey Allan, if you dont want to sand it back,you can get this liquid stripper called ELO easy lift off to strip the paint off. Its made by Polly S and it works really well. I use the stuff alot HTH.

had a re-think about this one and the colour,like the candy colour going to make a small change to it,will be going with Titanium silver base colour then going with clear red top coat, now for some fine warm weather, watch this space.

was going to buy some more paint for T-bird but wife said NO use what you have got,so have looked and found I have a bottle of nail enamel almost the same colour as the orange,now to buy some GP thinners with out her knowing can always say me need to clean airbrush out with it ,that worked last time.
