Ya mustang_67 not going to give up on this one yet,here is the colour that I will be using it the one on the right not the blue one,will use the blue on something else.

thank's Geoff, HOT EH,the colour is a dark orange with a fine gold fleck in it,been cold and raining here,will get GP thinners next week will have to put a coat of clear gloss on it as colour is satin, its going to be a bit darker than first colour,picked it up for $2 bottle as old stock seen same brand for $10,have about 25 diffrent colours some were free.

Lol the weathers been pretty cold down here to Allan.Its good to see your still pluggin away at it.....cant wait to see the new colour.i have'nt tried nail polish on my bodies yet.

Geoff,some of the nail enamels are soild colours others are not you need to put a base colour down first,also watch ones with gold flakes in it I airbrushed one and end up with gold flakes on my face and in my hair wife said it was very pretty use a good undercoat primer,

whitch primers do you use when your using those nail polish enamels.The same primers as when you use the boyd's enamel spray cans?

I have used auto acrylic grey primer,any good primer sould work,I have used tamiya acrylic paint as a base colour then put nail enamel on.DON'T put arcylic over enamel

it warmed up today with no wind blowing,got some new colour on the T-bird hope to start putting it together,colour is Tamiya acrylic Red X-7,its not flashy but its OK.

findly got a good coat of paint on T-bird,its blood red,base colour Tamiya green X-5 top coat tamiya red X-7 which gives one a blood red colour,roof is Tamiya gloss white X-2,now will wait untill paint hardens before building T-bird.colour is light in sunlight,dark inside

put a coat of clear on it with pearl bling powder from TPB,gives the paint a bit of sprakle in the sunlight,here is inside photos.
