Lindberg 1940 ford

Another built 40 ford,this was done a few months ago.This was painted with a black and silver base then covered with fingernail polish.
The same fingernail polish was used to cover the top and bottom of the car,by using two different base primers it changes the colour.

Nice work - I'm amazed by the great effects coming from using fingernail polish as a finish paint. Such a classic shape that Ford has. What have you used for the grass base?

The grass is railroad loose grass over a green painted base.

Top finish, is that gloss just the nail polish or have you cleared it too?

This has a about 4 coats of clear over the nail polish then polished,
some wet look polish,Hope this helps.
