1979 Toyota Hilux
I bought this one in 1983, and after about 400 different
paint jobs I thought it was time for another,
Sorry there are no workshop pics, I kinda got stuck into it
and forgot all about them. It does have a motor but only
the top half. the next time it gets a make over I might
drop a full one in. The tyres are 2 piece plastic and look
like crap, they will do for now.
Hope yas Like!

Nice work Shoey. I'm almost expecting a T-Rex to jump out of that night scene.

Awesome build as per usual man! Luv the lights Did you use a lighting kit or wire up your own LEDs? If you did the wiring yourself how did you do it?
Thanks in advance mate and awesome work

Re: 1979 Toyota Hilux
Thanks Guys, The lights are small LEDs that I got from Jaycar,
You can see the battery box in the back with a built in switch.
The batteries were nearly flat when I took these pics.
If you look into the beams with good batteries you can't see for a week!
Cheers.

Crap paint, Shoey.... Really does look like the Top Gear ute, very cool. Brillant weathering too.

Re: 1979 Toyota Hilux
Cool, but make sure you get the small bulbs, I think they are
about 3 Volts, 2 AA batteries will do the trick.
They sell the battery box with a built in switch too.
I got 4 bulbs runnig from 2 AAA's
Cheers

Thanks Shoey Would I be able to run tail-lights off of the same battery pack or will it not have enough juice?
