Chev van & Buick stock car

here is is a a Chev van & Buick stock car,they were built of a competition in scale auto enthusiast magazine.U had to use the decal from the magazine.but now the decals have blistersed,going to rebuild it and the van.

Nice one Allan, I remember these decals well! Don't rebuild them as they are a part of modelling history now and you won't see these decals ever again!!!

to late for van doing a rebuild on it,lowered it took off stock wheels, still working on new colour for it.

Can you hit the stock-car with a light coat of clear to keep the decals and paint all intact? I agree that this version possibly will not be done again and is already historic.

thats a shame allan, its a top lookin combo. i guess you will always have the photos huh...

What I meant is that even though the decals are flaking off, a clear coat would prevent further deterioration and preserve the model before it goes completely. That way you have something unique and others can enjoy it too. I'm glad you put these pics up otherwise I would never have known about these models.
