'66 Buick
My 11yr old daughter wanted me to do a pink and purple car. My 2 least favourite colours, but I actually think this Buick looks pretty hot in pink fading to purple.
The base colour is silver leaf with a light met blue fade along the bottom edge of each side. Then I covered the silver/blue fade basecoat with Translucent Pink. The silver base really makes the pink pop and the pink topcoat turned the blue into purple.
Nothing modified, just swapped out the kit wheels for some Pegasus Chrome T's, 23" on the rear and 19" up front.
Thanks for looking

That is just an awesome paint job Clutch. With paint that smooth you can't believe the bodys stock, it looks like a full custom.

Wow , nice work Clutch. I have a liking for 60's era Buicks and this fits in well, and the colour suits as a mild custom as well.

Re: '66 Buick
Well thanks very much guys, your comments are always appreciated.
Cheers Andrew, if you're interested in trying out a fade, have a look at these 2 links.
Í've only done a fade paint job a couple of times, so I'm sure there's other ways to do it, but you might find these useful.

This was a group build we did a while back, some nice build in here.

Thanks Ron, I know you're a Buick fan, so I'm extra happy to know it has your seal of approval.

Re: '66 Buick
Thanks guys,
Yep, from the can Bear.
You're right Zen, Kind of forgot about that I didn't lower it properly. I couldn't get it down enough so I simply glued the wheel tops to the inner guards but don't tell anyone
