'39 Chevy coupe
Has any one built one of these's,going to custom remove the chrome off it remove door handles smooth the body,not going to put bummer bars on.fill the side of the hood.

Looks nice Allan. I always thought the Chevy coupe's styling looked 'heavy' compared to the Ford coupe (IMHO).
This should look good when modified though.

Ya Tezza43,they are a bit on the large size and ugly,here is box art of kit.going to paint it red,but going to see if I can get some clear dark red for it.

Ya she is not the best looking coupe but shes a Heavy Chevy looks OK dark green too,and she has some cool curves.

I've always found it strange thet GM had almost the perfect coupe with the '37 Chev, all they needed to do was take some height out of the grille. Instead they screwed it up and created the machine pictured, whilst Henry wowed the world with a design so perfect that even today all it needs is the right stance and wheels, nothing more.

Not trying to steel your thread but heres my rendition of this car. I built this quite a long time ago, probably 15 years ago. I put BMW wheels on it.

I,am building a custom that was a project of a friend who past away in ,07 / chassis is 39wagon rod (amt) the doors & boot are opened an hinged-bonnet is piano hinged and many more mod,s to list . cheers colin

Is it me or is the kit roof more domed than the 1:1?
The sunvisor doesn't do it any favours but at least the newer box art doesn't look as awfull as the lowrider release.

Ya zenrat,the rear of the roof is to high,the rear window needs to lay forward at the top too, the sunvisor is going in my parts box,missed the van last time around it may come out again,thinking of looking at a 2 tone colour for this one body metalic green fenders silver or just all metalic green
