RACV Great Australian Rally 2011

The annual RACV Great Australian Rally will be held on Sunday January 16 at the Mornington Racecourse. This is a huge motoring event with a large variety of cars taking part. Muscle Cars, Hot Rods, Classics and Vintage all together in one area - it's a great day. Food and drink facilities will be available, or bring your own picnic. Public welcome.

This event is on tomorrow (Sunday) from 10am. Enter from Racecourse Road gate (near Mornington-Tyabb Road).

Warning: Racecourse Road is cut off for roadworks between Bungower Road and Mornington-Tyabb Road. If coming from Melbourne side don't go down Racecourse Road from Bungower Road as you will have to turn back.

Just seen a convoy of late 60's T-Birds cruising up towards the racecourse from the Nepean.
Wonderfull sight.
If anyones going then given half of racecourse road is closed traffic will be a nightmare (particuloarly Mornington-Tyabb Road from the race course to the Moorooduc at going home time). Allow extra time.
