Pics of 2010 RACV Great Australian Car Rally

Sunday January 17 will see heaps of historic and classic cars descending on Mornington Racecourse for a public show. Mornington Racecourse is situated on the corner of Mornington-Tyabb Road and Racecourse Road (entry from Racecourse Road), Mornington. This is Victoria's largest historic and classic car rally and is definitely worth a visit. All proceeds go to the Peter MacCallum hospital.

Worth a visit. Just be aware that 99% of the cars will be factory stock.
Not that that's a bad thing.

They gave me the arse last year. Said the XR didnt fit with the other cars on the grass. They can get stuffed this year.

Fun can be had standing next to them and loudly discussing how they could be improved.

I guess about 500 cars were there - certainly too many to post but here is some of the cars on show.

I see you tracked down a replica of the Bullitt mustang

That is an Allard isn't it? BRG and sat next to the cyclone fencing.

Mustang_67 yes it was a good replica but I couldn't find the owner to discuss it further. Did you also see the replica "Bullit" Charger in the pics? Here's the Mustang from behind.


Zenrat that is an Allard J2 complete with Cadillac V8 under bonnet. The owner was having lunch with his family and I didn't have the nerve to interrupt him just to open it up. Very nice car though. Here's a couple more pics:
