32 Ford 'Knight-mare'...
Thanks to everyone who followed this build, it's finally done.
I called it 'Knight-mare' because I've never had a build get me down so much.
The only part not painted twice, I didn't end up using. The body, grill, bonnet, chassis, wheels were all painted twice. The guards were painted 4 times.
I'm glad that I was able to find out how to strip 2K clear.
The colour is Tamiya TS75, Champagne Gold with Zero 2K clear, running gear is Testors Bronze with Tamiya TS13 clear and my version of Black Chrome.
Interior is Tamiya Racing White with black striping on the seats.
All in all, I'm happy that I stuck it out and got it finished, even if it did my head in. It has turned out to be one of my favourite looking models.
Once again, thanks for following this 'Knight-mare'.
Please feel free to comment or criticise.

Re: 32 Ford 'Knight-mare'...
At last!!
I'll give some criticism.... took too bloody long!!
Otherwise a perfect job, my good man! Just a shame that the interior is so hidden in a 3 Window, coz that looked excellent.

I still prefer "Pamela" to Nightmare - but I have to say it looks fantastic. Beautiful finish mate!
This is what might have been - sigh!

Wicked end result. Sometimes the pain makes the victory taste sweeter. I like how the black wheels and complete lack of chrome makes the car look really stealthy. Congrats to you Kane on another top notch build.

Gorgeous.
I hesitate to ask, but rear lights?

Yeah Shawn, tell me about it. That's also why I chose the name Knight as it reminded me of a suit of armor.ShawnS wrote:Wicked end result. Sometimes the pain makes the victory taste sweeter. Zen - doesn't need rear lights, it's a showpony.
Thanks everyone.

Re: 32 Ford 'Knight-mare'...
WOW!
The hi Tech look isn't my idea of a neat hot rod, but you have totally nailed it with this one.
Perfect combination of paint colours and perfect choice for the body colour.
The black wheels give it a sinister look and the rest is just plain class.
Well done!

Beautiful. Might have been a nightmare for you but it sure looks like a dream to me! I too dig the colour scheme and lack of chrome. Keep up the great work!

Wow, that's one sweet build! Have to ask though, did RAWR inspire you at all to build this?
