63 Nova SS by Trumpeter
Well it's finally done. Done enough for some pics here anyway. Still need to make number plates for it and just noticed the radio antenna is broken so will be repairing that too.... The colour is tamiya ts53 deep blue metallic. I made up my own decals for this kit as it doesn't come with any, only photo etch. I made them for the dash, glove box, hub cap centres, air cleaner and battery. I made heater hoses and clamps and ran a fuel line from the tank to the fuel pump, then from the pump to the carby. I installed under bonnet and boot material too. The boot is also flocked. The radiator has a p.e. cap too. The dizzy and plugs are wired in the correct firing order and the alternator and starter motor are also wired. I made the p.e. bonnet hinges and they really won't that bad to make. I used styrene rod to join the pieces. The metal rod supplied is solid stainless and don't see how that could be used effectively! Another cool feature of this kit is the poseable steering. When you turn the wheels, the steering wheel turns with it! Cool. Hope you like it.
The boot and bonnet do shut properly, just noticed in the pics that i didn't make sure of that before i posted up the pics...

Awesome work Tillerman. I think that's the first Trumpeter Nova that I have seen with both the bonnet and its hinges attached. Congrats to you on a sweet build.
