HQ Monaro

Gday all me again

Built this one a while ago. i started with a 1/18 scale classic carlectable hq monaro, replaced the engine with a v8 supercar one.
The wheels are from dare i say it a ford xr8 painted black i think they look alright.

Got plenty of sprintcar engines mate

The wheels are the best thing on the car IMO.

Only kidding mate - the whole car looks great. You're a real master of modifying now.

Gday all i got bored yesterday and decided to give this one a makeover.
The V8 supercar block remains but supercharged now, gone are the late model ford rims and replaced with the original HQ rims and lowered the suspension as much as possible.

looking great, I prefer the old style rims but that's a matter of personal choice, have you ever thought about widening and changing diameter of rims to change things up ?

That looks awsome,where did you get your motor from and how did you cut hole in bonnet as I am starting to modify my first model...

Thanks mate. The motor came from a V8 super car and replaced the injection with a blower and i use a dremel tool for cutting my bonnets out.
