Re: 41-47 Ford COE cab
Argh , was reading about truck show in the vintage truck mag . Might come up for a look see .
Place some balsa runners between chassis and tray it will look like real wood when you paint it and its easy to work to conform to the chassis .

Re: 41-47 Ford COE cab
will be looking closely at it on the weekend ,Silverfox was here last night picking up some new kits we just gotten from the USA ,showed him the COE, he said it can be fixed, going to be a pain as it will have to be painted dark green then red again just knew something was going to happen sooner or later,I have the worst luck at building models of late, think something is telling me to give away model building

Re: 41-47 Ford COE cab
Have sanded the cab back, yep had to go right back to the resin, still a bit to do before I reprimer it then repaint the two colours on it.Think this will be the last model that I will be building, going to pack the rest up and take time out for a while.

Re: 41-47 Ford COE cab
You can't give building away Allan. I would get withdrawals not have your great models to look forward to.
I will be starting on my F8 soon, have the body from Kerry it is a good casting, took me about 1/2 to clean up.

Hi Allan, I cant afford to buy an Opel Blitz just to rob the chassis. I am going to have a go at scratch building one.
What are you going to use for the engine and trans, the F7 & F8 had the big 337 engine that was also fitted into the 52 Lincoln.
