This is the AMT kit done out of box with some detailing. The 442 was a factory designation for four barrel carb, four speed trans and twin exhaust and the W-30 was a hi-po option that added a rudimentary form of forced induction through some scoops underneath the bumper.

I had my usual problem with the decals on this and decided to over paint them in black which resulted in about a thousand coast of clear to blend them in. The colour scheme was inspired by the HK Monaros that I’ve seen in silver mink with red interiors – I reckon it’s a great combo.
