Re: From "OLDSMOBILE" to "OLDHOLDEN"
Wow, that is impressive! Looks like a typical Forrestfield Speedway stockie. Love the local south-of-the-river sponsors and the six digit phone number - spot on ! And the second stone guard was a huge improvement - well worth effort.
I just started two Forrestfield stockies myself, an FC using a partsbox.com body and an FJ using a Tony Ashton body. Many years ago I also tackled a conversion like yours, an LJ Torana built from a chopped Maverick drag car. Came up a treat - you never know til you have a go and doing them as race cars, you don't have to sweat the fine details such as badges, chrome trim, interior details etc.
Cheers
Alan

Re: From "OLDSMOBILE" to "OLDHOLDEN"
Cheers Tom and Alan for your comments. Looking forward to seeing your 2 stockies Alan and would love to see your LJ Torana conversion.
Tony Ashton has an FC shell put aside for me, which I intend to build as a "stockcar" also.
Again thanks, and real nice to hear from you guys.
