custom 57 Chrysler

This one is an AMT kit of a 57 Chrysler custom, it was modelled on an 1:1 customised car, i didnt build it as intended and added a few mods of my own, wide rear tyres and tailights from the 65 lincoln optional parts ( there was a lot of optional parts in that kit )

Looks really nice - what colour is that DV8?

Looks like a nice kit with plenty of good detail. Those big Chryslers were real top cars and had the most outrageous fins of all. I like the mild changes you've made.

color is tamiya, think its was TS52 candy lime.

Nice build of one of my favourite late fifties cars.

That kit is kinda funny in that the stock version includes both stock and custom tailamps but the Custom version only has the custom parts. None of the stock parts are in the box.

The later stock version with poofy pink box art does not have the custom tailamps like the early version.

Weird huh?
