I made a new hood with louvers and the interior will be totally rebuilt using an old Revell Parts Pack.

Good on yer for using the old parts packs instead of "collecting" them.

They were meant to be used for modelbuilding, so it's kind of a natural thing for me I guess! Very Happy

The redline-tires and the Hurst-mags are also HTF-stuff so, the entire build consists of old gennie model-parts!

Still have no idea about colour/-s but...I guess something like silverflake with dark red scallops could look pretty good, uh?

Still have to decide about the taillights as well...might be something inspired by 1962/-63 Imperial...dunno  tongue

The grille has been a really tough one to crack....I have many hundreds of different grilles in my stash, but when I talked to a good friend and VERY talented modelbuilder today he finally put me in the right direction. I Went the really old school/TRaK way and used an old Aurora parts pack:

Thanks! I just decided on building this as a curbside. So the hood will be glued shut and there will just be some kind of Engine dummy in the enginebay to make look OK from below.

I decided to go with the kit supplied Engine for the "dummy". The hood will be glued shut. I had to do some filling to the bottom of the Engine/oil pan and then glued two short pieces of Evergreen tube for "headers". Everything under the car will be semiflat black.

Made a Little more progress yesterday. Still not quite finished with the bodymoulding around the rear part of the bubbletop. The Revell Parts Pack dashboard has been slightly changed. The steeringwheel came with the same Parts Pack.
