Re: In the works
Made the gaurds out of a plastic box I had lying around, the whole thing is one piece and just folded it then got the heat gun on to it so it would hold its shape.
It'll look better when primed.

Mate, I am overwhelmed that you still seek my opinion on important things in life
I think that when all the dust settles, this one will hence forth be known as a "truck" and a bloody good one by the look of it
Happy modeling

Re: In the works
Coming along nicely. I take it that this is the new release Peterbilt kit. Has it got a one piece cab/sleeper, or are they separate.

I have the new kit and it's a one piece affair, unfortunately.

Re: In the works
Why the hell do they do that. It would have been cheaper to recast the existing toolings than to create new crap. Makes a big job if you choose to customise your truck. I was going to buy a carton from the States cause they are so cheap, now I know why there cheap, that's typical tooling you would expect from a toy manufacturer. Ok. I feel better now that I have that off my chest. I love what you've done so far, and I'm sure you will do it justice. Can't wait to see it finished mate.
