Tractor from Parts Box
I got one of partsbox "Ken's Tractor". i like oddball kits and this little resin kit is certainly unusual. After base paint colors of light Blue and matt black, i weathered the parts to get a rough and used look. i used the 'salt' technique to get the peeling paint effect. I then assembled it with super glue in short order. The instructions would have you install the front suspension rearmost crossmember in backwards, so i mounted it with the hole facing the front. other than that it was a simple assembly. there is some scope to add a bit of detailing on the engine.
Some final pics of my tractor. i just added a few controls from my spares (a gear lever, pedals, headlights and a tow hitch).

Re: Tractor from Parts Box
The front view looks like it should have eyes and a smile...
Nice job. Well done.

Re: Tractor from Parts Box
That's rather cute, but I reckon the tyres will have to muddied up a little to go with the tractor finish. Nice looking kit - what scale is it?

I like it, it's something different, that would make a great wheel stander.

Re: Tractor from Parts Box
it's about 1/24 scale, you can see some 1/25 scale seats in teh first image and a 1/25 scale engine block in the last one.
and i'd recommend it if the subject catches your interest. it's only a dozen parts, but weathering and details can make the difference.
